This dream of cycling coast to coast has been thirty years in the making, beginning with Eric's father and bicycle legend Scott Brewer. Over the course of the past three years, Matthew and Eric slowly began to see their vision become a reality... knowing that it was their destiny to ride 3000+ miles across the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Wow! Those are some good pictures too! That's great you got to go to the temple in Nauvoo. Doug appreciates that you camped by the Douglas school or whatever it was there. :) Miss you guys! We'll probably see you in September when Doug's brother Bryce leaves on his mission (he's going to Canada!) unless you come to CA sooner! Love you!
Oh and Eric--you're starting to look like President Lincoln yourself with that hairy beard of yours!
Hey pretty boy, I like the new hair cut! You look like a good little boy!
Muah!
I like looking at the pics cause it just beings everything to light that you tell me about on the phone! What a beautiful Temple!
I arrived at your blog via Orson Scott Card's story on mormontimes.com and your trip reminds me of Dan Austin's "True Fans" cross-country bike ride, of which he made a documentary and book. I thought you might be interested in checking it out at www.truefans.com if you don't already know about it. He's also LDS and an acquaintance of mine. Best of luck on the rest of your trip.
